I have pretty much come to the conclusion that my second goal will not be possible with conditions at my school. After looking through the new technology standards I would like to make a new goal.
Goal #2: Provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.
Action: I will use assessments using ActivExpression voters (both multiple choice and extended response), graphic organizers on flipcharts, Exit Slips and 3-2-1 charts done with ActivExpressions. I will then take the data from and Excel spreadsheet and use it to gear my lessons.
Model: Correct extended response form and voting, complete a graphic organizer for demonstration
Evaluate: I will use the data to determine where in the lesson I need to either review, reteach, or move onto.

ReplyDeleteDon't be discourage that you had to change your plan because of outside factors sometimes this happens. It seems your backup or alternative plan is a strong one. I never used activexpression voters can you tell me a little more about this software or resource.
